Antiquités Rouget de Lisle

This is a German fabrication(Berlin) of the Empire period.
This item is sumptuous because the facade is decorated with a beautiful odalisque who has a delicate pale skin and the rest of the vase is gilded. The gold gives the appearance of the engraving. The patterns are varied: griffins, garlands and palms.
The dark base, in porcelain, is stamped underside.
